Meet us

Mia Grant

I am a registered nurse and help and guide thousands of mothers, parents and their families daily in one of the largest hospitals on Long Island. My passion is to connect the parents and their child, to have a transformational time during this amazing journey and to continue being the parent they always want to be. It is possible in most situations. One of the tools is connecting the body - mind - soul through yoga practice. The experience during the classes will empower, motivate and inspire the members to begin to blossom from the inside. They will feel de-stressed, living in vitality, healing their bodies, and connect with the highest energy vibration…Love.

I work closely with both the staffs and the patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and postpartum Maternal Child Units to implement the best possible care, safety, and compassion for the couplets. I also volunteer in the hospitals, giving classes for staff and patients, teaching them how to relax and meditate for their own healthier outcome. I was awarded, “The President’s Award 2017” and “Patients Satisfaction Award 2017” at the Northwell Health System.

Being a mother of three and having five grandchildren gives me the understanding of how challenging life can be and the chaos that surrounds us. Stress can build disease. I know for sure that we can live our lives juggling multiple balls at the same – We just need to practice how to connect to our gift and the beauty within. I know that everyone has incredible potential, and I allow the students/members to feel it. I come in and teach them the tools and techniques to stay grounded and to connect at all time.

I am also a Life Coach, certified from NYU, Kundalini Yoga teacher KRI 200 hr (in the process of 500 hr), Pre and Postnatal, Khalsa Way Certified, Art & Yoga Certified (also Kundalini based), Chakra Therapy certified, trained by Anodea Judith, Breastfeeding Counselor, Reiki 1&2.
